About Damien

Born and raised in Sonoma, California, Damien has a fondness for wine country and the Bay Area. While earning an earth science degree at UCSC in Santa Cruz, he surfed, skied, and played music in a band. After living on the ocean, Damien moved to the small town of Crested Butte, Colorado, where his love for the mountains grew. Camping, hiking, biking, skiing, playing music, and motorcycling are some of the many activities that he pursued while living in Colorado. In addition, Damien has always maintained travel as a priority in his life. He has visited over 40 U.S. states and more than 18 countries around the world.
During a road trip on his motorcycle, Damien passed through beautiful Bend, Oregon. Shortly after, he and his girlfriend decided to pack up their lives in Colorado and make Bend their new home. This was one of the most rewarding decisions of his life. Not only does Oregon support his active lifestyle, it also gave him the opportunity to follow another passion of his; metal work. Upon moving to Bend, he started a welding business called “Bent Metal Works” where he creates functional, artistic metal pieces.
In conjunction with doing metal work, Damien wanted to expand his career in yet another direction. Real estate grabbed a hold of his interest and he’s been pursuing it ever since. If not in the office, he’s either in the metal shop, or out paddling the Deschutes River. Bend is a great fit for Damien, and he happily calls it home.
